We bought this old dresser and gave it a little makeover.  I really enjoyed doing it and now I have this constant desire to find old things and make them cute.  If only I had more money to invest in this new found hobby.
So we sanded it down, and primed and painted it.  Then we put this glaze on it that sticks in the corners and crevices that made it look a little vintage.  Then put contact paper inside the drawers.  I think it turned out way cute!  Now we just need a cute mirror to go with it.

   I've recently become super obsessed with refinishing furniture (mainly shortcuts) because I've got two pieces of furniture that need painting, but having gone the long painful route before, I was looking for something easier. So... you should google Anne Sloan Chalk Paint or CeCe Caldwell Paints. Supposedly these paints stick to anything, no need to sand or prime. Annie Sloan has been around longer, but CeCe Caldwell is getting better reviews, plus they're a weensy bit cheaper and the wax and varnish have no fumes. They're both on the pricey side, but skipping on the prep work is totally worth the extra money to me! I'm going to paint some blond wood charcoal gray and put some white vintage-inspired knobs on an old dresser. Excited! P.S. I love how your dresser turned out!
