A little belated posting about this, but I went to my friend, Krista's wedding in Oregon a couple of weeks ago and reunited with some friends there. I've felt so out of the loop with all of my friends since I've been in Florida. This is probably more because I'm horrible at keeping in touch with people, and not so much because I live all the way across the country. Most of these friends I haven't seen in at least a year and one, Natalie, I haven't seen since she moved to Boston like 4 years ago! The great thing is that whenever I do see my friends I feel like we haven't even been apart and we just kind of pick up where we left off. I don't know about them, but that's how I feel and it makes me even more excited to be back out to Utah and to see them more often. A little bonus to this trip I took to Oregon is that I met some more really great girls and I can sense some more great friendships in the making. I'm so excited to move back home! I've really, really missed it there. Florida has been pretty good to us, though, and we'll miss it when we go. Oregon is BEAUTIFUL, by the way. I'm definitely going to have to make a trip back there one day.
A little explanation about the elbow: we were outside the barn (which is where Krista had her reception) taking pictures. I was about to lean back against the barn when I felt a sharp pain just above my right elbow. I thought that the barn had given me a sliver but then it started burning intensely and I'm pretty sure I was stung by a yellow jacket or something. And even though the picture of my elbow looks like there's nothing wrong with it, I promise there IS something there, and it hurt like a mother.
