I just can't tell you how many cakes I've had to write this on in the past couple of weeks. I understand that there's a reason for the season but a birthday cake just doesn't do it for me. A couple of weeks ago we were in Utah for a total of 48 hours. The reason for the short trip was that Jason had an interview for a residency at the VA in Salt Lake. So one of the two nights we were there we went to the Christmas concert at the conference center. Now that's what I call celebrating the reason for the season. Nobody sings a Christmas carol like the MOTAB. Other than the concert, we went out to eat at 3 restaurants and hung out with my family. It was nice to get a little taste of the holidays at home. But I'm also excited to go to Jason's parent's house for Christmas this year. Merry Christmas everybody from us to you!
